Shaelyn T. Pham, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist (CA license PSY23509) and co-founder of the Newport Psychology Center. Her areas of focus include children, adolescents, and adults with mood disorders (i.e., depression, bipolar), anxiety, anger, trauma, substance-related disorders, personality disorders, and she also provides psychological evaluations. She is also an online adjunct professor at Liberty University where she teaches graduate courses in the Counseling and Family Studies Department.
Dr. Pham has been practicing in the field of psychology for almost a decade. She has extensive experience providing psychological evaluations and treating patients of different ages, genders, and ethnicities in individual, couple, family, and group therapy. She has worked in many different settings including community agencies, schools, group homes, inpatient sobriety rehabilitation centers, psychiatric residential care, and outpatient clinics.
