No forensic accounting firm would be complete without an expert witness. The owner of SGI, Saul Gordon, CPA, CFE, CIA, CA(SA) has testified as an expert witness on a number of occasions. He has testified in both criminal and civil trials and beyond just Orange County where SGI was originally established. He served as the President of the Orange County of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (“ACFE”) from 2007-2011. The ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. He served as a Director-at-Large for the Inland Empire Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners from 2009-2012. He has also served as the Orange County District Ambassador for the Professional Investigators of California from 2008-2011.
